show me that love molecule
Lovers during their first year together show a molecule called NGF in their bloodstream. This apparently tapers off with long-term relationships…

These strange Cone Shells release a potent toxin as protection from predators. As with many animal toxins, conotoxins at just the right dose it is apparently hallucinogenic, per a recent interview with Rudy Rucker on Neofiles.
Check out Rudy Rucker’s site which includes excerpts from a lot of his great books… Frek and the Elixir is one of his best.
I just discovered this guy Zamyatin author of “We” among other titles.
If any of you out there are interested in excercise, I recommend two very good sites. One is called Beast Skills. It focuses on gymnastics training type stuff, circles, handstand, hstand pushups, planche, and tough stuff like that. Also the iron cross.
There’s also this other site Bodyweight Exercise with a lot more beginner stuff.
For those not familiar, bodyweight training is exercise without weights, that uses all of your bodies muscles in more organic ways…
Perhaps I’ve been sleeping at the wheel, but I just discovered Wooster Collective. Yum.
What the hell. I knew humans were putting probes on planets and moons, but apparently the Japanese just landed a probe on an asteroid!!
News is, the city of NY just acquired the high line from CSX railroad. A park is coming in 2008… Also, don’t forget to check out the friends of the high line site.
Apparently hapless Bangkok travelers could be rudely AHEM awakened after kissing one of these ladies. A trannie blow a sedative into the mouth during the kiss, then a gang of ‘em robs to poor sod. FYI, Trannie or TV is short for transvestite, or rather a man that pretends to be a women, possibly with various body mods to add to the affect.
Google maps has been hacked to do a lot of things. BUt this is the first I’ve heard it used to track UFO sightings.
We’ve talked about the idea of life having originated elsewhere, not on earth before. Panspermia is apparently the name of this theory. It’s strikes hard at the heart of the idea that we’re (a) alone in the universe and/or (b) unique. We’re a whisper away from discovering some sort of bacterial life on Mars. Scientists are pretty sure if there isn’t now, there once was. If you have two habitable planets in the same solar system that pretty much throws out the idea of uniqueness. Life is probably everywhere, just like it is here on earth. Apparently they’ve found that Lichens can survive for a couple of weeks in space.
All you crazy kids should take one of these two opportunities to see Rob Brezny talk in NY in the next few weeks. He’s responsible for this Free Will Astrology goodness, and Pronoia as an antidote to Paranoia.
