This article on slashdot talks about how the feds crack encrypted files. Incredible. For those who don’t know, encryption today is incredibly sophisticated, 128bit keys would take billions of years to brute force with todays computers. But… and there’s always a but, creating custom dictionary files from from all the corporate email, and then using that for a more directed attack, allows most files to be opened and read!
