Lovely weird Japanese art.
The world, or rather the internet only gets weirder. In order for people to pay for ads clicked, they want to know they were clicked, uh, legitimately. Watching for bots clicking is pretty easy because they behave predictably. But what if you hire people to click the ads? Check out this ad, which is even indexed on google itself. Talk about transparency.

When I first saw this I thought what’s the big deal. Then I checked it out in an actual copy of Maxim. It’s incredible. Basically it’s a photo mockup of the proverbial terrorist taking over a mall. But look closer. The kid on his knees has a Copyleft t-shirt on. So viewed by a savvy net user, fed up with big corp interests, you can see the proverbial gun to the head of the little guy, artist, downloader, creative type. Wow… that image is powerful. Check it out!

Went to Deitch Projects on Wednesday night for a bit of live performance by the Low Level All Stars. It was pretty damn good. All this music made with old C-64 computer emulators. Now you can dowload your own full-length releases!
Neofiles’ RU Sirius interviews Howard Bloom to find out the answer to the question we’re all wondering - just What *IS* the Global Brain.
We’ve discussed the allure of sweat before, but urine too? Apparently this study of mice has confirmed it also causes females to salivate. If watching the neighborhood dogs sniff every corner of the sidewalk is any indication,
It’s all over the news now, but if you haven’t heard, HP is being sued over it’s allegedly programming them to expire after a certain date. We’ve heard the urban legend about light bulbs, and we know that print cartridges are how printer makers really make their money on those $50 and $100 printers. Not surprising if it’s true…
This ad for security glass has potential for coolness, but word on the street is that (a) only the top row of bills are real, and (b) it’s got a security camera pointing right at it, with the ad agency just accross the street!

Interested in the Occult, magick, Crowley, or Eastern Philosophy? A friend of mine in Buffalo, Mike Kolson, runs a bookstore which sells quite an ecclectic selection. He has a store on the web where you can browse. If you decide to order something, tell him I sent you…
Crackpot scientists, or cutting edge genius? Edinburgh scientists have a little black box that seems to behave erractically just before major world catastrophes. Is there a global human consciousness? Prof Bierman says “There’s plenty of evidence that time may run backwards. And if it’s possible for it to happen in physics, then it can happen in our minds, too.” Amen!

A man died from a Sherry enema and his wife has been indicted. She says “My husband told me he loved me more than anything in the world except for God, I’m not ashamed of my husband because I loved him, and I supported him 1,000 percent, whatever he wanted to do. That’s the way he went out, and I’m sure that’s the way he wanted to go out because he loved his enemas.” Can’t say much more…

An underwater 5-star hotel is being build in the Bahamas. Rooms start at only $1500/night! Check out The Poseidon. All I can say is I’m stuffing my piggybank starting right now…
I just became privy to what I consider to be a conspiracy, though others call extreme conservative ideology. Championed by Grover Norquist, the idea is bankruptcy would teach a lesson about big-spending. Is this for real? Big government is bad, small government is good. Taxes, we all agree are bad, right? But all anti-tax conservatives don’t like Norquist.
