timeline to disaster

Posted by admin on Nov 10 2003 | Uncategorized

I don’t know about every fact in this piece, but it’s interesting reading. From CBC, The Saudi Connection to 9/11. Again, I usally point this stuff out not to refute every point, for it’s unlikely that us mere mortals will ever get all the facts, but rather to demonstrate the complex web of connections in modern conflicts, and the difficulty of then finding b/w explanations, axis of evil etc.

resume of champions

Posted by admin on Nov 10 2003 | Uncategorized

You can see G-Dub’s Resume here. Irrespective of how factual the information on that page is, some might argue that c-minus is not good enough to be leader of the free world, or that some of the other stuff in there indicates some sort of failure. But the fact is he *WAS* president, and he is the type of person our society rewards for his actions. He’s the winner, and the rest of us can go and grovel.

translation of recent dope news

Posted by admin on Nov 07 2003 | Uncategorized

The recent hoopla over “Cannibas”, the establishment term, the cleansed and sanitized term for the big bad wolf we’ve fighting all these years, just confirms what many have known for a long time.

Anything for headlines. It seems daughter Barbara Bush ran home to mommy + daddy when a couple in one stall over were using a vibrating electrical device to “shave” with.

pirate attacks still plague the highseas?

Posted by admin on Nov 05 2003 | Uncategorized

Apparently it’s true, and they’re on the rise. Who knew? This reminds me of one of those less publicised facts of ongoing bank robberies, and corporate budgets allocated for theft. Strange, but true.

china twist - millionaires better look over your shoulder

Posted by admin on Nov 05 2003 | Uncategorized

Red China still seethes with commie sensibility. Aparently a lot of former members of the top 100 richest have met with untimely deaths. For reasons, let’s not forget about our old friend Marx.

colonization of the mind

Posted by admin on Nov 05 2003 | Uncategorized

I use the word colonizaton because I think memes, like viruses spread through from mind to mind, stretch, and changing the dimensions of culture. What was once taboo becomes ok, and what was once ok becomes taboo.

Many 20th century observers have noticed the acceleration of change in culture, and human knowledge. But is all this new knowledge bringing us answers to the “bigger questions”?

Coulter on the Mic - and it ain’t pretty

Posted by admin on Nov 04 2003 | Uncategorized

Ann Coulter has a few unfriendly words to say.

I’m not going to scream the predictable rant about how everything she says is wrong because it’s conservative ideology. What I will say is that anyone, left or right, who on the one hand continues to have shallow superficial analysis, and on the other, continues to speak almost to a “T” the party line, can’t actually believe all that nonsense. I mean does anybody really fall squarely into liberal or conservative, left or right?

modern politics or Kabuki?

Posted by admin on Nov 04 2003 | Uncategorized

I point you to this piece not because you’ll be surprised at someone pointing out dishonest politicians, or elaborate propaganda, but rather because of a new an interesting analogy to shed light on the subject.

“Modern Washington dishonesty is more like a kabuki ritual than a realistic, Western-style performance.”
