I watch CCTV cable, the Chinese mouthpiece, but not because I think they’re unbiased. I know the bias. I watch because I know I’m getting a slightly outside view, which is so hard to get these days.

Chomsky doesn’t stop until he’s unraveled the whole mystery. And whether you want to hear it or not, he’ll dish out the history so the picture that forms of more recent events suddenly fits into a cohesive form. You won’t like what you read, but it will tear apart any preconceived notions you have, and stand you naked in front of the brutal reality of it all.

Here’s a twisted bit from the folks handling propaganda. It appears falsified letters are being sent to newspapers around the country. Don’t they call this fraud, or am I missing something?

I’m not surprised this guy would say something like this, but given the current climate, isn’t this grounds for arrest, and dropping him in Guantanamo???

The good church is at it again, spreading misinformation about condoms. In this case, that they don’t protect against AIDS. An abomination in some eyes, it’s hard to understand the church’s logic on this one…

Many folks have left their old-world religions for a secular life, while other’s have sought cults + fringe religions. Still other’s seek Eastern wisdom, while others turn inward. For the latter, Simulations of God looks to be a very interesting read.

Few understand the history so I won’t bore you with it again. Anyway, the “bad guys” have morphed once again into a group being called spackers. They’re using the internet in a way no one expected, again, allowing themselves to cloak using 450,000 compromised home systems with high-speed DSL + Cable connections. Go WINDOWS!

We did a piece a while back on how McCarthy was right a while back. Elia Kazan’s death has recently sparked the controversy again. Here’s a well written piece discussing both sides of the issue.
